What is the best software to use to record my music?

Question by nemoibi: What is the best software to use to record my music?
Right now I’m using Audacity, only because it is free of charge and are doing fine. But I have a really good recording software needed for my music because Audacity is quite what I need to do with the title I’m laying down limits. I am open to free software or buying software.
