Question by Sergeant Martinez: What software would let me monitor all the devices on my internet network?
I would like that information as the name of the device and how long it was connected to the network, any software that does that? Oh, and I have Norton, the network security map displays, but there are not many details.

I don’t know too many software of that type but you could try “Cisco Network Magic” but that’s a 7 day trial.
Here’s other one. I’ve never tried this one but looks interesting: http://www.spiceworks.com/free-network-mapping-software/ and it’s free.

If you have windows vista, or 7 you can search for “network” by typing it in in the >>”Start”> Search bar menu… Once located you can view all devices connected/ Detected by your Modem, Router, PC Ad-Hoc, PC Bridged Connections, PC Wireless connections, and Router wireless connections.
No “other” third party software required… With Windows its Plug & Play ease of access… Or at least if you have Vista or preferably 7.
